Olive Burger in Richardson

This is hands down the best burger joint I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. Over time the size of the burger has slightly decreased from "massive" to just "very big", but it's still wonderfully filling. This is our go-to restaurant anytime we have guests over, and this is where I always take my family for my birthday. The prices are affordable and reasonable, portion sizes are Texas-appropriate, and quality of food is 10/10. Very pleased with my experience here.

Super nice employees. Delicious burgers. We got an avocado, cheese, and crispy beef bacon burger and it was pretty perfect. No complaints about this place. Parking is easy outside. Inside, it's a casual diner style table and chairs, with TV's. The place is kept clean as well. Oh yeah, and I asked if we could change the channel on one of the TV's to watch a basketball game that was on, and they happily obliged. So, even though the menu, including desserts is a bit limited, the pros far outweigh that, and it would be well worth coming back to.

Been to Olive burger a few times now and have tried a lot of different items on the menu. I love the grilled chicken the sandwich and the wraps. There burgers are great, they taste fresh and they are just the right size. They have never disappoint and the service there is outstanding they are always so nice! #eatatoliveburger

Olive burgers grilled chicken and beef burger is good. The fried chicken burger absolutely sucks. It's like they took a chicken nugget, expanded it, and out it in the middle of a burger. I expect more from a store with only three options for a party filling.

My family loves coming here! We each get the perfect burger we all want, and we order the family size fries because it's more than enough for 6 people! Also, don't sleep on their sweet potato fries! They are really good! I always see the owner and his family at this location and I love what they have done with the expansion. Their burgers always hit the spot! Support local!

The shavarma is one among the most popular items here. French fries were soo crispy and yummy. I have been here so many times now and this place never disappointed me!

Excellent food. Portion size is excellent. Just a bit tight for large group. I would recommend this place.

Some co-workers & I went. I don't eat out at work much. The service was fast but the food was "nothing to write home about." My Co-workers said the other burger joints around were better.Don't take this as a bad review, but the place is just OK.

First aaaaaand LAST VISIT. Ordered online. They stated order NEVER went through. So, waited an extra 20 minutes for my 2nd order. Burgers were HORRIBLE. SOAKED IN MAYO AND MUSTARD. Had to wipe it with 5 napkins to try and get some of it out. So much so, that our burgers LITERALLY fell apart. Guy at the counter was rude and unapologetic. I'd rather drive to L.A. BURGER. THEIR STAFF ROCKS IT, ATMOSPHERE AND FOOD...

Probably one of the best burgers I have ever had.House cheeseburger with jalapeños, mushrooms, onion, cheese. One of the few places that seasons its meat. I was happy that the burger wasn't a hockey puck thickness, but a thinner 1/2 lb. The fries were good with legit ranch dressing. The owners are very accommodating.Highly recommended. They are always busy for a reason.

Halal gyros and sandwiches that taste decent. I ordered a chicken Philly cheese steak sandwich and a beef gyro with a side of fries. Gyro meat was good and so was the Philly sandwich. The fries were a little too salty for my taste but complemented the sandwich and gyro well. They gave a special "z sauce" with the meal which was good was well. The service was fast and the people were nice. I'd go again if I found myself around that area again. Prices were reasonable for the portions you get.

Staff was so friendly and walked us through the menu highlights. Burger was fresh and juicy. Bun was really good. It was one of those burgers you just have to get in there and enjoy.

Our food was very nice. Huge portions. I wish the prices were not to high, but otherwise I recommend! We ordered “family fries” and that thing was HUGE, unlike some other family fries I’ve had before!Again, I’d recommend this place is better then fast food chains like “in n out” or “Burger King”

Great place for halal burgers! I ordered the olive burger with beef bacon and the mushroom burger cooked to a medium rare. I thoroughly enjoyed both and they were cooked perfectly. The service was good. Will definitely one again!

I had the lunch special, which included a cheeseburger fries and a drink for $6.99. The burger had a nice, light char which gave it a good smoky taste. The fries were nice and crispy with a slight seasoning. I also tried the fried pickles. There were also crispy and the batter had a little spice to it which I liked a lot. Overall, I really liked the food and the service. I'll definitely come back.

So I tried Olive Burger for the first time today, and it was so good! If you’re looking for somewhere to get a good ole fashioned burger and delicious fries, give them a shot 🍔🤤

This place had zero curb appeal. We were concerned that it may have closed when we pulled up to find no signs of life and mirrored windows that gave no inside view. It was borderline creepy going in. But, once inside we saw real living breathing people working there. The girl who took our order was very pleasant and got it right with no issues. Our pager went off way before our order was ready, which was weird but no big deal. The food was very very good! Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. We, there were three of us, were all very happy with our meal. It did seem rather pricey for serve yourself burgers, but I'll do it again. They are worth it!

Perfectly adequate. Clean. Prompt. A cut above fast food. Lots of menu options + gluten free bread options. Skip extra avocado- not worth it

On point! Best burger for the price! Only $6 and change for a specialty(not plain) burger! And their fries are great too! Staff was friendly, came around and asked everyone if everything was good. Also, this place was noticeably clean. I mean Spotless! I'm sure they're going to need to look into adding more inside seating soon!

We love Olive Burger. Always a favorite with the kids. The burgers are huge and tasty and we love the fries. We tried chicken strips this time. They were ok you get 4 small strips with fries. Thought another strip would have been better as they are small thin strips. Fries were a adequate quantity. I love it that the restaurant is so busy, yet parking is ample.

Got the original in beef and crispy chicken. They were both really tasty but the beef edged ahead by a step. I would definitely visit again if I'm back in Texas.

I like the place. The ambience is good and brings out a positive vibe.I favorite is the jalapeno burger. It's delicious with the wonderful balance of spice for me. I feel that their fries could improve, cause it almost always feels overcooked. But hey, I'm there for halal burgers and sandwiches and not fries.Overall a positive experience!

There are a number of good halal burger options in the DFW. Olive Burger is hard to beat. Richardson location is better than the Plano location. They have halal bacon burgers (beef) that are great.

This place is so good! Love the burgers, and the fried pickles were so hot and delicious. Like less than a minute from being fried to my mouth hot. My only regret is not getting the churro bc I was 100% out of room, but it’s my excuse to return!

This place has really good burgers along with some chicken sandwiches. Place is always packed especially around lunch time. Two things I would have enjoyed more 1- Thicker patty 2- Curly fries

We have been wanting to try this place for a while now and we weren't let down. It's a small but comfortable place and the burgers were some of the best weve had. The fries were really good too, reminded me of main Street deli in downtown Garland which I also really recommend for sandwiches and Mediterranean food. But the original burger and jalapeno burger here were very good and the beef was very flavorful. The bacon is beef bacon and it was a little chewy but it didn't bother me. Would definitely recommend this place.

Every time I eat here, the food is too good to take a picture and post; you just wanna gobble it all down. Love the olive burger, Oreo shake and cheese fries. Come with an appetite and good friends. Aaand it’s halal!

Quick food service, a reasonably priced menu that includes beef bacon (and where else can you find that?) the burgers are huge, the food is seasoned to perfection, and the place is clean as a whistle. What more can you ask for? A drive thru???

Great sandwich, the chicken was tender and seasoned just right with a bit of a kick. The bread was soft and the melted chesse and mushrooms were amazing. The toys were hot and crispy.

Best burger joint in the metroplex! One of my favorite burger joints in town. I always get the mushroom Swiss burger and it has not let me down since. They also have a jalapeño ketchup dip and yum great service and life changing food. Highly recommend!

You'll find the best burgers in Dallas here. I had the gyro sandwich which was absolutely amazing. Probably the best I've had anywhere. The ambience is not particularly attractive but the service and the food are over whelmingly wonderful.

What a gem in Richardson Texas @eatoliveburger has a decent greasy burger 🍔! You know the kind that you need to have the napkins ready for the potential sloppy goodness? Olive Burger has fresh made to order burgers, fries and shake. It’s reasonably priced my meal is under $10.00 with bacon, mushrooms, bacon on bacon with tots and drink. There’s plenty of seating, friendly staff and they humored me when I asked for my burger being cut after the fact. I was good and didn’t order a shake but I’ll be back. Happened upon the Richardson location when on an errand. Decided to stop and try. This place is DELICIOUS!! We had the olive burger and olive chicken sandwich and upon the first bite we were hooked. We will take the trip to Richardson from Oak Lawn again just for Olive Burger.
